Ritxard - Truly any kind of salt can be smoked! At The Meadow our selection of smoked salts run the gamut from fine- and coarse-grained salts and even flake salts. Good luck and have fun!

I'm a salt-hobbyist/saltmaker on O'ahu. Do you need coarse salt crystals for this variety, or can it work OK with sea salt-sized grains? I just bought my Cameron's smoker and am looking forward to trying guava wood from the neighborhood.

i love this coarse salt. its something about the shape of the crystals. i've made some caramels dipped in dark chocolate with himalayan pink salt on the top. the taste is exquisite. i want to try more sweet and salty recipes.
